SURVEY: NEBDAC Looks for Accumulator Adjustor Experiences in New England
Pharmaceutical manufacturers have historically helped patients by assisting them with their copayments for expensive treatments/medications: this might be through a "copay assistance program" or a "copay card". This copay assistance from pharmaceutical companies helps patients either meet their deductible or helps with the copayments after the deductible has been met. However, that practice could be changing. This survey is interested in situations where a manufacturer’s payment assistance has been blocked, denied, or no longer being applied to the patient’s deductible by insurance companies. Your input with help us identify how large of an issue this is in New England.
