Rhode Island Recognizes Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month

Rhode Island was the second state in New England to officially declare March 2018 as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month!

Representative Camille Vella-Wilkinson and Chris Blazejewski introduced a Rhode Island House resolution that passed on March 14, 2018, to help raise awareness about bleeding disorders in the Ocean State! Special thanks to NEBDAC State Leader Meagan Murray who helped schedule the event!

"Working with the legislators in Rhode Island to bring awareness to bleeding disorders has been a rewarding experience.  My family has been working with legislators and local businesses to raise awareness by meeting with the officials and setting up booths and fundraisers with local businesses."

- NEBDAC Rhode Island State Lead Meagan Murray
