Vermont Recognizes Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month
Vermont was the fifth state in New England to declare March as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month! NEBDAC Vermont State Leads Michelle and Mark Johanssen worked with Governor Phil Scott to get the Proclamation issued. Great work Johanssens!
"Every March, bleeding disorder advocates get the opportunity to spread awareness about bleeding disorders that affect our friends and families. With the arrival of our son, we had to get creative this year, and shared our optimism about the future of treatment options for hemophilia. Whether you meet with elected officials, post facts about bleeding disorders on social media or plan an event; the goal is always to share what it’s like to be part of the bleeding disorder community and how your life is affected."
