Thank Your Senators For Passing H.4825!
MA Copayment Assistance Extended Until 2020!
Due to YOUR efforts, yesterday the Massachusetts State Senate passed an extension of the co-pay assistance program until January 1, 2020. Thank you for your advocacy! Your voice matters and your actions really do have an impact.
Help us thank the Senate President and other senators who supported us in this process. If you made calls or sent emails to the Senate (or even if you didn’t), please take a moment today to call/email those same Senators to thank them for their support. It is a very important step in our advocacy work.
What do we do now?
When we ask legislators to fight on our behalf and they deliver, we need to let them know how much we appreciate their efforts! This helps build our relationships with them so that we are not just calling when we need something. And we will need their help again next year so we would really appreciate you taking this important action.
Contact Senate President Spilka’s office at 617-722-1500 and say “Thank-you!”

Our Work is Not Over! Massachusetts Residents Need To:
While this passage is an extremely important step, this still needs to be signed by the Governor. We will continue to monitor this issue and keep you updated on the process.
This issue is not going away, we will still have a lot of work to do in 2019 to ensure that the program continues beyond 2019 but today is a day to celebrate! Congratulations on this victory and thank you again for all of your work on behalf of our community!
